Roadbook
Some stages are relatively manageable, so there is plenty of time on the way for observations, to linger and marvel, or simply to let your soul dangle after arriving at the hut. In addition, there are some beautiful peaks along the way that are well suited for a detour.
Like most high alpine routes, the Dreiländertour is also demanding; it requires experience, good stamina, sure-footedness, and appropriate equipment. But freed from everyday life and fully focused on the essential things, this scenically beautiful, multifaceted mountain route becomes an unforgettable experience.
The huts are open depending on conditions from mid-June to the end of September. But even in high summer, snowfall or plunging cold can turn an apparently easy mountain route into a challenge. Anyone who wants to tackle the route should already inform themselves in advance and, of course, on the way at the hut keepers about the weather conditions.
