Easy three-thousander above the Klammljoch

From the large car park behind Rein in the outermost Knutten Valley (approx. 1690 m) follow the wide valley path to the Knuttenalm (1869 m, hut, about 1 hour) and then in switchbacks or on the shortcut trail up to the Klammlsee (2243 m; approx. 2 hours from the starting point). Near the lake outlet follow sign 9 A, ascending increasingly steep over grassy terrain and boulder fields to the small Napfen lakes (approx. 2500 m), then over boulders and rocks further up to a mountain basin with a small cirque lake (those without a fear of heights can already climb from here up the west ridge of the Dreieckspitze to its summit) and continue following the marks up to the Bärenluegscharte (2848 m; about 2 ½ hours from the Klammlsee). Here leave the marked trail to the left, follow cairns on trail tracks across the northern flank of the Bärenluegspitze to a small saddle and then left on the southern ridge of the Dreieckspitze on trail tracks and over schist blocks (again with cairns) fairly
