Roadbook
From the Breslauer Hut, follow the signs for the Seuffertweg, or Vernagthütte, with slight altitude differences to the northwest, thus hiking into the broad Mitterkar. Here the path swings to the left and soon crosses several streams and moraine ridges.
Now always heading southwest, the path crosses at roughly the same elevation below the foothills of the Vorderer Brochkogel, where the terrain becomes steeper and more rugged. At the foot of the Platteikar, a stream is crossed before finally reaching a terrain edge by a shallow mountain lake, where the view opens towards the Vernagthütte.
Here the path turns northwest and you reach the Vernagtbach by descending slightly over scree terrain. You cross this on a bridge, after which it immediately ascends a bit steeper again. At the two following junctions, keep right each time to reach the Vernagthütte.
