Roadbook
From the hut, follow a footpath south into the forested area and come across a track, which you follow with a slight ascent. A good way past a prominent hairpin bend, a mountain path branches off to the right and leads up to the ridge north of the Saalkogel. (Here a summit detour to the Saalkogel is possible.) On the other side of the ridge, the path descends into the mountain basin north of the Saalkogel and crosses in a wide arc over to the Staffnalm. Here you briefly follow a track once again and then go straight at the hairpin bend to follow a mountain path that leads up over meadow slopes to the east to the Henlabjoch. From now on, follow the beautiful mountain ridge to the north, which leads over the Sonnspitze to the Bischof.
Since this summit drops steeply to the north, the path leads downhill for a good stretch along its western ridge. Then at the fork, turn right and cross north just below the Bischof again over meadows to the northeast up to the Niedere Mahdstein. The path then continues a bit below the crest line west beneath the Großer Mahdstein further north to finally reach the Jufenhöhe.
From there it gently descends northeast into the mountain basin of the Wildsee, over whose east or west shore you reach the wonderfully situated Wildseeloderhaus.
