Cima Capi, Cima Rocca, Lake Garda
From the village of Biacesa we ascend the "Sentiero dei Bech" to the south ridge and to the Cima Capi over an easy via ferrata Fausto Susatti (B). The crossing to the Cima Rocca is through a tunnel, before descending with protections via the chapel S. Giovanni on the Sentiero Foletti.

ASCENT: From the playground in Biacesa (418 m) ascend on the asphalt road to ~455 m on the left and at ~475 m on the right follow the Sentiero dei Bech (trail 470). We reach a signpost at about 560 m, where we will descend via the Sentiero Foletti. Trail 470 leads us further eastwards, with some ups and downs in a long traverse to a viewpoint at about 580 m and further to the sign at about 605 m, where trail 405 goes right towards S. Barbara. We turn to the approach to the via ferrata and reach the start at 735 m. At a brisk pace 1 hour. On the easy Susatti via ferrata (A and B) we quickly reach the exit (~870 m) and on the ridge to the Cima Capi 909 m with breathtaking views over Riva. 580 m elevation gain and just over 1 1/4 hours.
CROSSING: We descend to the helicopter landing site (~830 m) and reach another sign pointing to S. Barbara. We keep left on trail 460 towards San Giovanni (30 minutes indicated), reach a high point around 905 m, descend to ~835 m and reach the chapel (858 m). Right at the chapel is a sign above the chapel at 865 m and continue up the ridge to the start of the tunnel path (lamp required). At the end at 1035 m there is a ladder, then the Cima Rocca 1090 m is reached immediately. From the valley, 875 m elevation gain and 2 hours at a brisk pace.
DESCENT: Back to the San Giovanni chapel and on the Sentiero Foletti (trail 417) with protections back to the signpost at about 560 m, where we crossed in the morning. Descend to about 475 m, right and back to the starting point in Biacesa 418 m. Descent brisk 50 minutes.
Overall at a brisk pace good 2 3/4 hours and 875 m elevation gain.
