The new mountain trail to the Sciora hut crosses deep gorges on suspension bridges and offers phenomenal views of the Cengalogroup and Bergell.
And now comes the new part: the route branches off to the left from the road - the path climbs and runs above the rocky ledge that extends into the valley at around 1400 m. The first suspension bridge awaits at around 1600 m. The route now traverses the steep slopes below I Mot and Piz Grand, steadily ascending and descending at an altitude of around 1700 to 1800 meters. Whenever the forest opens up, there are magnificent views of the Sciora group, the Sasc Furä hut and the gravel fields from the 2017 landslide.
At about Naravedar, you come to the old hut path and follow it for the last 300 meters of altitude to the Capanna di Sciora.

It is recommended that you travel by public transport, as the existing parking spaces are often full in summer.If you do want to try it by car, follow the cantonal road from Maloja or Chiavenna to Bondo or Promontogno.
