From the Spitzsteinhaus, ascend on an alpine pasture path over Altkaseralm, then descend behind it to the alpine road and turn right towards Nesselbrand Alm. Continue on a gravel road below the Spitzstein and Brandelberg until you reach an inconspicuous directional arrow. Turn right into the forest here and follow a trail towards Feichten Alm – no markings but clear trail signs. Leaving the forest, cross the alpine pasture of Feichten-Alm and ascend to the ridge of Brandelberg, where you meet the AV path from Klausen to Spitzsteinhaus. Turn right following the markings towards Spitzstein and return below the Spitzstein wall via Auer Alm to Spitzsteinhaus.
