    Roadbook

Start at the Spitzsteinhaus; from here take a path or alpine trail over Altkaseralm to the Nesselbrand Alm and continue along a gravel road to an inconspicuous directional sign. Turn right here into the forest and follow a path towards Feichten Alm - no markings but clear trail traces. Coming out of the forest, cross the alpine meadow of Feichten Alm up to the ridge of Brandelberg, where we meet the AV path from Klausen to Spitzsteinhaus. Turn right and follow the marking towards Spitzstein (caution: surefootedness required), then pass under the Spitzstein rock face over Auer Alm back to the Spitzsteinhaus.
