The path from the Qafa e Pejes saddle to the summit requires surefootedness and a head for heights and includes some scrambling sectionsRoadbook
From Theth partly along the stream, partly on the access road to Theti Okol and further in the wide stream bed towards Arapi. At a drinking water source the path splits; if you do the Arapi circuit (route no. 6 in the hiking guide Northern Albania Thethi and Kelmend), you come back here. We keep right (contrary to the described circuit). First, it goes moderately uphill to the valley end, then steeply uphill through the rock face to the pass Qafa e Pejes (1,705 m, well marked up to here). There, turn left onto a faintly marked path onto the plateau of Arapi and with some scrambling and exposed sections to the summit (2,217 m). Return via the ascent route.
