Long and scenic ridge tour, partly very steep ascents. Up to Ankelspitz T3, afterwards T4 with several partly exposed climbing sections of difficulty grade I. Surefootedness and freedom from vertigo absolutely required, no longer an easy mountain hike! West ridge to Brecherspitz secured with ropes.
Descent back via west ridge and Freudenreichalm or alternatively north ridge and Ankelalm.
