Access to Brauneck Gipfelhaus from Arzbach

From the last parking lot in the Längental southwest of Arzbach, the route is initially well signposted on a forest road past the Kirchsteinhütte to the Längentalalm. Just before this, immediately after the bridge, turn left towards the east. You reach a forest road, follow it to the right, and reach another forest path in a left bend. Here turn right towards "Brauneck," then you can leave the forest road on the left onto a rising mountain path, which crosses another forest road again. Then you need to be careful: first, at a somewhat hidden sign, you turn right, then you must make sure not to follow the access paths to the climbing routes to the Kirchlwand, but the path that leads up to the saddle between Kirchlwand and Schwalbenwand. From there, it goes down a bit, past the Logham Alm and in a left bend up to the long mountain ridge leading from Latschenkopf to Brauneck. You reach this somewhat west of Schrödelstein, go around it to the south and finally reach the great location of the Brauneck Gipfelhaus along the broad summit ridge.
