The hike leads after a moderate ascent on comfortable paths with places to stop at the famous Antonius Chapel viewpoint through the Kaisertal to Hinterbärenbad, with the option to stay overnight at the Anton-Karg-Haus of the Alpine Club. The second day begins with a significant ascent to the Stripsenjoch. Then follows a first steep, then long and gentle descent through the Kaiserbach valley, with opportunities to stop at the Griesner Alm or Fischbachalm. From Griesenau, a regional bus runs to the train station in St. Johann, to take the train back to the starting point in Kufstein.
