From Rinnensee onward, the trail climbs quite steeply; just before Rinnennieder, the trail is very exposed and unsecured. Sure-footedness is absolutely essential, as is alpine experience.Roadbook
Behind the hut, turn right onto a well-marked trail. After a few small switchbacks, you’ll reach a beautiful hiking trail that’s secured with wire rope in some places. However, these sections are easy to navigate and quite short. The trail continues along a narrow hiking path. At the Rinnenspitze/Rinnensee junction, keep left to reach the lake. Once you arrive at the lake, it’s a wonderful spot for a snack. From the lake, continue along the red-and-white trail markers up to the Rinnennieder.
