Follow a beautiful military mule track through the woods in a southerly direction and on the orographic right of the Rio di Valmaggiore stream (marker 335). After reaching a saddle where you meet the last of the glacier peaks called „I Laghetti“ (1901 m), you first continue üacross a plateau and then climb in wide hairpin bends to the valley above. At the junction with the Sentiero Val Auto (2030 m), follow it to the left (east) and climb steeply along a barely signposted but well-marked path to the junction with path 336b. From there, go straight up until you reach the scree basin above, where you branch off onto the path marked 349, which goes under the Dente di Cece peak and towards the foot of the north-west ridge of the Cima di Cece. A steep but easy gully leads up to the aforementioned ridge. Continuing in a southerly direction, past the open rocky outcrops and trenches from the First World War, you climb to the rocky elevation of the Cima di Cece (2754 m). In fine, clear weather,
