Via Algarviana: from Salir to Silves (Day 3)
The Via Algarviana is essentially a Long Distance Footpath (GR13) for those who want to explore the inland Algarve region, crossing it from one end to the other. However, it is also possible to complete the entire route by mountain bike, as described in this route. The Via was traced over an old religious trail, where pilgrims used to travel this path to the Sagres Promontory, an important place during the Age of Discoveries.
