Tremalzo 4 – from Riva del Garda over Passo Nota

Every year thousands of mountain bikers ride over the Tremalzo. The world-famous gravel road excites many pedal knights so much that they struggle upwards again and again. The new shuttle services bring hundreds of freeriders and downhillers daily to Rifugio Garda during the season, so they can speed down the gravel road against the driving direction. Technically not too difficult, the wonderfully planned route also tempts fast riding, which can be quite dangerous with overconfidence. The road always runs along the edge of the abyss, partly boldly carved into the rocks. The route served as a supply route during the First World War and therefore, like all military roads, has a uniform pleasant gradient. By the way, the Tremalzo gravel road leads through a wonderful landscape with breathtaking views of Lake Garda.
