The Neumatt loop

Turn right onto the D27 road towards Markstein. After about 50m, take the forest path “Claire Vie” that climbs on the left.

At the first crossing, continue straight on the main path towards Neumatt, leaving the Claire Vie path on the right.

Always stay on this main path, leaving to the left the path leading to the Neumatt chalet (private). Pass near a stream and keep following the main path, which climbs and continues slightly to the left, then descends after a few kilometers. > Follow the Wingenwald path, which descends to the D27 road.

Arriving at the departmental road, turn left, then right onto the D144. Follow the VV33 direction which takes you to the dam of Lake Kruth-Wildenstein. Stay on this path that runs along the lake and brings you back to the welcome center.

At the crossing with the D27 road, turn right, then at the first bend, take a forest path heading left and descending to Kruth in the locality called Sauwas. At this point, take the road to the right. (If you want to return faster, follow the D27 road to the right which descends to the welcome center - beware, dangerous road)
