Sunny route for mountain bike beginners.
The starting point is Altenmarkt. From here the route leads on the road towards Zauchensee. After crossing the Zauchbach, the ascent to Ameisenberg begins. Then it goes up to the Hochnössler: first on asphalt, then on forest roads that wind through forest and meadow terrain with varying gradients.
The highest point of the route is at around 1,500 m above sea level. Then a steep gravel descent through the Steinwandwald awaits down into the Zauchbach valley. In the valley, the route follows the stream downstream, past the adventure forest, back to the starting point in Altenmarkt.
