This mountain bike route on the Seefeld plateau is a varied loop with beautiful viewpoints and wonderful panoramic views of the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountains. The forest roads run mostly with pleasant inclines over the Wildmoos plateau through mostly shady mixed forest. However, the final climb to the Gschwandtkopf requires a bit more strength as some steeper ramps must be overcome. The rustic huts along the route (Katzenkopfhütte, Möserer Seestub’m, Sonnenalm) invite you to stop and rest.

    Roadbook

The route begins at the pharmacy parking lot in the center of Seefeld and first takes us to the Geigenbühel. Then we go on a short descent to the Bodenalm and from there further north to a three-way junction. Here begins the ascent through the "Bauernwald" to Neuleutasch/Unterkelle district, further up to Wildmoos and from there over to Katzenkopf, with a magnificent view over the Leutasch valley and Wetterstein mountains. After a short, steep descent, we cycle in Leutasch/Weidach past Weidachsee lake and on pleasant forest paths to Leutasch/Moos. Here the ascent to Wildmoos begins again, passing the golf course, the holiday colony, and the aperiodic lakes - Wildmoos and Lottensee. This way we reach the viewpoint at Brunschkopf with a wonderful panoramic view over the Seefeld plateau.

After a short descent, we come to Mösern, where the last ascent to Gschwandtkopf begins. Just below the highest point, we turn left again and ride down a few altitude meters to the reservoir pond with a wonderful view into the Gaistal valley. The crowning conclusion of this round is the fantastic panorama from the terrace of the "Sonnenalm". After a short descent, we ride past Wildsee lake and back to the pedestrian zone of Seefeld.
