Scenic mountain bike route Kreistenalm - Obergassalm

Enjoy the wonderful panorama from Alpendorf over the vast Salzach valley. The ascent with the bike is quite steep at the beginning, but later it goes more comfortably through the forest.
On this mountain bike route the view is simply great. You start at the Aktivhotel Alpendorf. The first stretch is asphalt road but then it goes on forest roads through the woods. Wonderful viewpoints await you. Obergaßalm is a rustic alp and managed daily in the summer. You absolutely must plan a stop here. If you still have strength you can extend the route to Geisterberg or to the mountain lake Sonntagskogel. The mountain lake is one of the most beautiful places in our region :-)

If you still have the strength, definitely ride to the Sonntagskogel reservoir lake (past Geisterberg). It is one of the most beautiful places in the region!

Roadbook
You start directly at the Aktivhotel Alpendorf and take the Alpendorf street towards Kreistenalm. Stay on this road for the first 2 kilometers and then turn left onto the forest road. Kreistenalm is signposted at this intersection. Then it goes uphill all the time, past Kreistenalm and follow the forest road towards Obergaßalm or Geisterberg/Gernkogel.
