On the challenging mountain bike route with wonderful panoramic views of the Dolomites from Natz to Roner Alm on the Rodenecker Alm
The route is very interesting from the start. From Natz, you go right into the wildly romantic Rienz Gorge. The difficult descent becomes a short pushing section for inexperienced mountain bikers. Over the Rienz bridge and up the tractor path to Niedersthof. Along the asphalt road for a short stretch, then left onto trail marker 1 to Kreuzstöckl. Follow the path to Spisses and up to Gifen. On the road towards Nauders, shortly before it turn right and over the alpine road to Rodenecker Alm. At 1500m turn left and follow marker No. 14 over gravel and hiking trails to Roner Alm. Descend on the old alpine road No. 2 to Nauders and further to Vill. A detour to Rodenegg Castle is worthwhile. Downtrail No. 1 leads down to Rundel bridge. Short steep climb to Rundelhof and onwards to Schabs. Via Raas you return to the starting point in Natz.
