Challenging circular tour with wonderful views over the Inn Valley. Mostly on well-developed gravel roads, but there is also a push section (Singletrail S2-downhill) to be mastered!!

The ascent from Inzing to Ranggerköpfl is easily doable on well-developed forest and woodland paths. Only the path from Krimpenbachsattel down to Inzingeralm becomes a bit more difficult. Experienced and skilled singletrail riders can manage this challenging path (S2-3) on the bike, inexperienced bikers should better overcome this short part of the route by pushing.

The descent from Inzingeralm back to the starting point at Inzing again takes place on very nicely developed forest roads.

    Author’s recommendation

A stop at the Roßkogeljochhütte or/and then at the Inzingeralm is certainly worthwhile.

We start at the Inzing swimming pool (parking lot) or at the Inzing train station (approx. 50 m more elevation). We ride up in a southerly direction on an asphalt road to the district "Eben", then continue over the Peter-Anich-Weg (S0), the Rangger and Völsinger meadows and thus reach the forest road up to Stiglreith. Here we briefly follow an asphalt road and then return to a well-developed gravel road, which leads us to the Roßkogeljochhütte and then further up to Ranggerköpfl.

At Krimpenbachsattel we cross a fence and thus reach the trail that leads down to Inzingeralm. The trail is very narrow, slightly overgrown and partly heavily eroded. Experienced and skilled singletrail riders can manage this challenging path (S2-3) on the bike, inexperienced bikers should better overcome this short part of the route by pushing. The trail then merges above the alm again onto a fairly rideable path, which takes us after a short ride to Inzingeralm.

After a stop at the alm (the cheese dumplings are recommended) we descend on the very well-developed forest road down to Inzing to our starting point at the parking lot in front of the swimming pool.
