Beautiful route through the valleys and hills of the Verbania hinterland, entirely a circuit, it can be done in all seasons, except for heavy snowfalls, allowing a glimpse of beautiful places just a stone's throw from a now busy city, still with their old charm.

Leaving the car at the Cambiasca cemetery, take a short dirt road to the right of it that will take us to Ramello. On asphalt, we enter this narrow valley (Intrasca) where the villages are high up in search of the sun. We pass Ponte Nivia with the junction to Intragna, continue to Aurano leaving also the branch to Scareno, the asphalt road now climbs with easy hairpins to Aurano (m 680).
From the village, near the last houses, close to some garages, towards the road to Segletta we descend to the right for a few meters into a meadow and enter Via Manegra which, obviously, leads to the homonymous locality. We then head into the valley on the old mule track not all rideable. In recent years the path has never been cleaned and has become very narrow and difficult for MTB, we pass abandoned alpine pastures, exciting fords near waterfalls that in winter turn into impressive ice formations, various small bridges, we meet the almost always inhabited Alpe Erbia (m 750) and shortly reach the grassy path crossing the lower meadows of Manegra.
We cross the provincial road to Piancavallo and head right on a wide dirt road to the locality Luera; from here we continue to the end of the track, leaving a marked path on the left, now new specific MTB signage will lead us the right way. To the asphalt,
we head towards the lower square of Pian di Sole: right and then immediately left on the trail in the woods and then among the meadows where we pass under the low ski lifts of the ski resort, skirting on the right the Sasso Corbè.
At a fork, when the dirt road levels slightly, we take the less obvious right fork reaching Cortaccia, here the 4x4 track ends and a narrow steep path leads us to the Esio aqueduct intake and then by asphalt to the village. Continuing slightly uphill, we reach the junction near Pian Nava, we skirt Monte Cimolo on the north side along a wide firebreak and arrive at Roncaccio di Bèe.
We descend for a few meters on the asphalt then at the right fork, near a large condominium, we carefully enter a first narrow path and reach stairs next to a small church, after crossing the road we continue on the paved path passing under the provincial road, at the next T-junction we turn right on a lane until we find the provincial road again, we cross it and without entering the village we skirt north on a small road the hill overlooking Bureglio, locality of Vignone, now descending towards the Intrasca valley, characteristic the passage on an erratic boulder blocking the path. Arriving at a flower plantation near "Ca' di Mui", we skirt it on the north and then turn right reaching, after a somewhat slippery and not easy to find path in the woods, a small lake near an electric substation on the San Giovanni stream, we cross the bridge and reaching Ramello we look for the parking where we left the car.
