From Ghigo di Prali, follow upstream the course of the Germanasca stream, keeping to the left bank, up to the hamlet of Giordano. From here, reach the hamlet of Ribba, then ascend to the pastures of Bout du Col, where you will find a magnificent alpine pond.

Still following the stream, carefully descend on a comfortable path until the hamlet of Pomieri, then take a balcony path parallel to the outgoing route but slightly higher, arriving at the hamlet of Orgiere. Cross the bridge and proceed to Malzat, then return to Ghigo, completing the first part of the loop. Upon arriving in front of the church, it is recommended to continue downhill along the dirt road that runs alongside the Germanasca stream and reaches the hamlet of Villa, passing along the Children’s Path. From here, return to the starting point via the main paved road on the other valley side.

The route can be shortened and adapted according to your abilities and needs.

    Author’s recommendation

Between Ghigo and Villa the route passes along the "Children's Path," where it is possible to admire the benches and sculptures made by Daniele Viglianco with a chainsaw, or peek at the gnomes and their houses, cross the forest of talking trees, and have fun discovering hidden surprises.
