Over the Auenerjoch to Meran 2000
On the ridge with the mountain bike from Auenerjoch to Meran 2000 high above Hafling
From the parking lot in Hafling below the church, the route goes by bike over a small, initially comfortable access road into the rear village (marking 16), past the Brunner Guesthouse and several farms to Leader Alm (1512 m). The forest road leads the route up to Vöraner Alm (1875 m) and further to the Auener Jöchl (marking 2). Turn left here and continue via the scenic European long-distance path E5 to Kreuzjöchl. Through wide alpine meadows with views into the Sarntal, continue following the marking to Meran 2000. Shortly after the Meraner Hut turn left and follow marking 14 past Rotwand and Zuegg huts down to Falzeben. On asphalt, return to the starting point in Hafling.
