According to information, in the future there will be the possibility of bike transport with the chairlift.
Currently, the route ends at the Lilienfeld hut.
From there, a forest road leads to the "Green Gate" and then via the Höhenstraße to the lift valley station or to Lilienfeld.
Extension of the route to the lift valley station is planned.
Roadbook
The first part of the route from the chairlift mountain station to the mountain rescue hut is quite easy (S1).
The second part (starting after the forest road crossing near Steinhofberg) is demanding and requires good mountain biking skills (S2).

Lilienfeld can be reached by train from St. Pölten.Directions
If arriving by train, start from Lilienfeld station.
If arriving by private vehicle (e.g. car), start from Lilienfeld or from the "Green Gate".
You can get to the start point of the route
- by chairlift (May - Sat, Sun, holidays; June to October - Tue to Sun, holidays)
- by "muscle power": ascent via the Höhenstraße to the "Green Gate" (driving up here is also possible by car), then onward to the Lilienfeld hut and the lift mountain station.
