Mountain bike route through Bragança and Montesinho Natural Park
Venture into the district of Bragança, exploring its history and natural beauties in the Montesinho Natural Park, in the northeastern Trás-os-Montes region of Portugal.
This is a route that can be done in 3 or 4 days, depending on physical preparation and the amount of time each cyclist wishes to spend in the places to be visited. The minimum distance covered on the 4-day route is 58 km and the ascent varies between 1,500 and 2,000 meters of altitude. The route passes through paved roads, trails, and paths – always within Bragança territory. Take the opportunity to visit Montesinho Natural Park, Serra da Nogueira, and part of the Sabor and Maçãs River Valley.
