East of Arco rises the 2059 m high Monte Stivo. On the other west and south side (Valle di Gresta) stretches a vast network of trails, paths, and forest roads. Bikers find a wide range of routes here
From ➊ Arco (90 m) on the bike path heading north to the ➋ bridge, cross it and continue on the bike path to the village Moletta. At the “Bicigrill” turn right to SS 45bis, pass it and follow the signs “Anello Garda MTB” on Via San Martino. Continue to the climbing garden ➌ “Policromuro” (Braila signs). Up the narrow mountain road to ➍ Pianaura (350 m). At the first junction after Pianaura turn right (Troiana sign). Always uphill you reach the hamlet ➎ Troiana (645 m). After a short pushing section you reach ➏ Carobbi (754 m). Via steep forest and woodland paths (follow the signs Malga Zanga) you reach the crossing ➐ Passo Due Sassi (1108 m). Southwards, gently downhill to the village ➑ Schivazappa (1030 m). At the junction ➒ Monte Velo (1050 m) on the paved road to the mountain inn ➓ Monte Velo (1020 m, popular stop). Continue to ⓫ junction with SP 48 (road to S. Barbara). Ride down one kilometer on the provincial road and turn left to the church San Francesco. At the first junction –
