From Anfo, you first go back a bit towards Rocca d'Anfo. In the area of the town exit, turn sharply left into Via Santa Petronilla. We then follow the narrow and scarcely trafficked mountain road with a moderate incline to Rifugio Rosa di Baremo. There, go back a few meters to the junction and follow the forest road northwards.
Already before Cima Ora, you can then turn right onto the Dynaite Trail to Ponte Caffaro. We skipped this first and probably most dangerous section and only switched to the trail after the climb to Forte di Cima Ora. From there, there were also some sections we did not ride, although the trail there is mostly not that technically demanding. Only the constant risk of falling kept us on the safe side.
At the end of the trail, you reach the well-developed asphalt road 699. We then follow this until the junction to the lakeside road of Lake Idro, turn right there, and follow the lakeside road back to the starting point.
