    Safety information

We are partly on "shared paths", please watch out for hikers and riders.

Observe winter closures and time restrictions.

The times and difficulty ratings are subjective and always depend on your ability, the bike, fitness and current conditions!

Observe closures for bikers and push if necessary.

The military training area is bypassed, but temporary closures can occasionally occur during exercises, please pay attention to signs.

    Tips and suggestions

    Hochfilzerhütte Mannersdorf:

    Roadbook

We start heading towards Sommerein and shortly after pass the ruins of Wenzelkirche. With a short detour, it is worth admiring. Passing Gaisberg, we then reach the Hochfilzerhütte near Mannersdorf. At Scheiterberg with its 350m, there is a ski lift. The route continues to the Scharfeneck castle ruins. After that, it goes continuously southward to the Kaiser Franz Josef Warte with a great view over the wide landscape. Shortly after, we reach the southernmost point and now ride north, later northeast back to the starting point. The military training area is bypassed on the way there and back. Only during large exercises can closures be a concern.
