LAKE GARDA CIRCUIT – 3RD STAGE

The long ascent begins at the harbor in ➊ Garda (70 m). On the Via della Madrina – asphalted street – via Albisano to ➋ San Zeno di Montagna (575 m). Before the church turn right onto the steep street towards Lumini. Always uphill to the pass ➌ Sperane (725 m) and slightly downhill to the small village ➍ Lumini (695 m). Keeping right on the narrow street towards Prada until the junction before the ➎ Hotel Castagneto. Continue towards Prada, past the ➏ Albergo Capriolo to the junction shortly before the mountain inn ➐ al Cacciatore. Turn right onto the narrow mountain road (signpost "Fiori del Baldo") and after 4.5 km you reach the parking lot ➑ Due Pozze (1282 m). Before the parking lot, turn right onto the forest road (steep sections) to ➒ Malga Colonei di Caprino. The route then switches to the western side of Monte Baldo. Crossing the ridge Cresta di Naole in a northern direction to ➓ Malga Valfredda (1331 m). Downhill on the serpentine road to the alpine hut ⓫ Agritur Ime (1128 m).
