Our main trail around the Madritschen chairlift. Exceptional landscape, our "main road" to many other trails, C, S, F.

The start is at the mountain station of the Madritschen chairlift, from where you can first get a good overview with a fantastic 360-degree panoramic view. The first part of the trail is on Austrian territory, exactly where skiers make their turns in winter. In summer, however, you move along the entire "Livio Trail" on pasture land, that is, meadows with gravel. Special consideration for cows and horses is required. Furthermore, the trail is crossed and shared by hikers. All sections are, however, well visible.

After the first section follows a short flat part. After a short uphill (approx. 200 m), it leads into a traverse. At this highest intermediate point is the border to Italy. Now begins the most scenic and natural part. Before the junction to "S" (Snake) and "C" (Chri), a short stop is worthwhile for a few snapshots with the Gartnerkofel in the background. Then it goes over a meadow with small strokes and a steeper curve towards the first North Shore bridge, which is located before the junction "L" (Livio) and "F" (Fausto). Here begins the flowy part of the trails. Roots, stones, and small forest sections are the ideal "playground" for bikers. The Livio Trail ends directly at the lake (Lago Pramollo) – as the name suggests – at the Livio restaurant.

    User Questions

    Unanswered
