Kellerjoch Loop from Schwaz
The Kellerjoch Loop: from the St. Martin Cemetery in Schwaz via Pillberg to the Loassattel, then on to the Arzjoch Chapel and Koglmoos. Afterward, back to Schwaz through the Silberwald.
From the free parking lot at the Schwaz Cemetery, take the paved road toward Pillberg, continuing to the turnoff for the Loassattel. Pass the Loas Alpine Inn on your left—they serve “super-delicious and very large Wiener schnitzel.” Once you reach the Loassattel, head downhill on the forest road to the first left turn, then continue to the next left turn. Follow the forest path through a gate until you turn onto the wide trail leading to the Geolsalm. (Here you can enjoy a good meal and drink and charge your e-bike). Then continue toward Spieljoch to the Arzjoch Chapel. (Beautiful reservoir.) Continue downhill to the Kaunzalm. From here, continue downhill on the forest road until you reach a left turn at a gate. A short descent, then uphill to the next forest road junction, where you turn left and continue uphill to the Lackenhütte. From here, it’s all downhill to the former Koglmoos inn. Turn left at Koglmoos and follow the easy trail through the Silberwald back to the Schwaz cemetery parking lot.

Take the ÖBB train from Innsbruck to Schwaz. From the train station, cycle toward Pillberg. However, it’s better to take the VVT bus No. 456 from the Marktplatz terminal in Innsbruck to Schwaz, getting off at the “Schwaz Schwimmbad” stop, and then start the loop toward Pillberg from there.Directions
