This mountain bike route with push and carry sections leads us up the south-facing slopes above the villages of Pfalzen and Hofern. Along forest roads and some trails, we reach the tree line, along which we cross the foothills of the Pfunderer Mountains. Nice alpine pastures invite you to stop for a break, and again and again we enjoy great views of the Dolomites.

    Author’s recommendation

The mountain bike should be carried between the Oberpertinger Alm and Ochsentreiberalm and between the Kaltwasseralm and the upper Grünbachalm.
