Roadbook
The two trails are especially suitable for trail beginners and for the start of the season.
Both lead identically at the beginning from the Isskogel cable car mountain station along the ski slope and then wind their way into the terrain break of the Barmbach. In some curves and with numerous waves, the trail loses some height, leads close to the access road, and then crosses the Krummbach descent. Upon reaching the gravel road here, do not turn left into the forest, but follow the gravel road until after 2 hairpin bends, first slightly downhill, then slightly uphill, passing under the village cable car and then following the gravel road gently downhill through the forest for about 1 km. At the next intersection, keep left and briefly dismount the bike at the chain barrier. 50 meters further, a marker already shows you the way into the forest. The last 1200 meters is an easy and "flowy" trail. After about 100 meters, the trail splits into two possible variants. Fundamentally, both trail variants can be described as easy. At first still through the forest, then a clearing with gentle curves and waves follows. Then you cross the gravel road once more and, just like in the upper part, it goes beautifully gently and "flowy" back down to the gravel road. From here, the service road leads 300 meters flat past a barrier and over to the paved meadow path. The remaining 3 km on asphalt go down into the Inn Valley and back to the valley station of the Isskogel cable car. Attention: On the last 3 paved kilometers from the meadow path, oncoming traffic (tractors, hay equipment, and also trucks) must be expected at any time.
