Himmelbauer from Obervellach

from Obervellach main square, go through the village in the direction of the cable car station to the Roman road to Raufen.
Continue past the entrance of the Groppenstein Gorge through Räuflach to Semslach. The ascent starts in Semslach (see photo). After about one kilometer, you pass the historically important Groppenstein castle (tip: take a photo)
then continue past the Ranacher and Dabernig farms, turn by turn uphill to the Almgasthof Himmelbauer.
Now you have perhaps the most beautiful view down into the Möll valley and large parts of Upper Carinthia.
The descent into the valley is the same as the ascent back to Obervellach
