Cozy circular route high above Meran. This bike route is also very popular with the locals; depending on the weather, it can already be ridden in late winter.
Directly from the (1) Elisabethpark (325 m) in Meran, follow the well-marked bike path towards Passeiertal at first. With moderate incline, past the (2) Biotop Lazag, reach the striking (3) bridge over the Passer, leave the bike path right there, at the following junction keep right again and follow the bike path signs to Schenna. At the junction (4) Naifweg, continue straight on, at the (5) roundabout “Rametz bridge” take the second exit and enter the steep Laberserstraße (15%). At the fork with (6) Katzensteinstraße keep right and follow slightly downhill the signs to “Hecherhof”. At the next (7) junction the street climbs steeply again, leads through the gorge of the Sinich creek and ends finally at the (8) Hecherhof (570 m). Pass the iron gate below the farm (sign bike path) and descend the short trail to the (9) Koflerhof. A steep, paved road now winds downhill to the church of Burgstall, follow the street briefly, turn into Maiergasse and merge into the (10) main street of
