Ledro Lake has become especially well known due to its archaeological finds. Mountain bikers have also "discovered" this picturesque mountain lake for themselves many years ago. Many routes have now been excellently signposted.
From the harbor in ➊ Riva del Garda (70 m) follow the "western Gardesana" south for about 500 m; just before the tunnel the ascent begins on the "Sentiero del Ponale". After about 3 km you reach the terrace bar "Ponale Alto". At the following junction keep right (signpost Pre/Molina). Follow the disused access road for just under 2 km into the Ledro Valley to the junction with the ➋ SS 240. Uphill on the main road to the bridge, cross it and turn right onto the steep forest road (also a bike route) further into the valley (signpost Pre/Molina). Following the signs, you reach the village ➌ Pre (501 m). Through the village center and always further into the valley to ➍ Molina di Ledro (640 m). After about 700 m you reach the main road near the ➎ information point. The subsequent lake circuit takes place clockwise along the road near the lake shore.
