This moderately challenging mountain bike tour starts on the bike path, leads via Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße, and ascends on well-maintained asphalt and forest roads to the scenic Erlhofplatte. The varied route combines flat sections along Lake Zell with moderate climbs through forest and open terrain. Once at the top, you'll be rewarded with beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountain range – a great spot for photos or a short break. After reaching the highest point of the loop, the route leads back towards Bruck via varied paths and then continues along the bike path to the starting point. This tour is a classic in the region and is suitable for both mountain bikers and e-mountain bikers.

From Viehhofen, we follow the cycle path towards Maishofen. After the Unterberger bakery, we turn right onto the cycle/farm road. This road continues with Lake Zell on our left, leading to Thumersbach. In Thumersbach, we take the Erlbergweg, which leads us uphill towards the Enzianhütte and further up to the Erlhofplatte. Once at the top, we turn right and follow the route downhill towards Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße. From there, we enjoy a leisurely ride along Lake Zell on the cycle path back to our starting point in Viehhofen.
