E Easy Way

The name says it all. Anyone starting at the Madritsche mountain station takes the "Easy Way", the easiest route towards Nassfeld Pass. For the most part, the trail marked with blue wooden stamps runs on alpine pasture and grazing land. Appropriate caution is advised as cows and horses can be encountered at any time. Furthermore, the trail is shared or crossed by hikers. The start is located directly between the mountain stations at Kofelplatz. First, the trail runs parallel to the summer toboggan run. After about 800 m, you cross the track and turn onto a forest road. Then you follow a light alpine meadow trail, alternating with gravel road sections. After the reservoir, turn right into the forest and towards Italy. From here, just let it flow. It goes flat and the route is ideal to gain first experiences with the bike.
