Equipment
If you have a brain, protect it!
Wearing a helmet is a matter of course when mountain biking.
Proper clothing!
Even in summer, especially during the pre- and post-season, carry warm clothing and a spare jersey during the MTB tour. In higher altitudes, it is unpleasant in bad weather without rain protection.
