Crest Epic

From Lac du Saint Guerain pedal up 600 meters to Miraillet on asphalt and gravel. The uphill is mostly well doable, only the last bit on trail needs to be pushed in parts. Once you`re up, the trail follows the side of the mountain first and then on the ridge. Open and fast, never too difficult with short steep sections on grippy and sandy soil this is a fantastic trail and the views are epic! The part close to Roche Parstire is very difficult in one short section, a narrow and very tight switchback section with exposure, most will walk these few meters. Shortly before Col du Pre you´ll find lots of roots until you´re at the pass.

Pedal up the gravel road and follow the trails back to Areches. Fast forest trails with nice corners, occasional rock sections, switchbacks and roots are a superb end to this tour!
