Beautiful viewpoint above Revúčka.
On the southern side of the majestic Kohút in the Stolické Hills is a nice viewpoint. In 2011, local tourists installed a double cross here (later consecrated) so that the place of popular walks also became a pilgrimage site. They also built a gazebo that serves tourists for rest. In the past, there were small gold mines here; during explorations, people tried to assess the acoustic properties of rocks and decided based on that whether gold really existed in the place - this is said to be how the name Klepaná skala originated. In good weather, beautiful views also extend to the slopes of the Muránska plain and the Low Tatras.
Mandatory photo documentation: with a bicycle and a cross (or tourist signpost) in the background.
Author’s recommendation
One of the most charming medieval chapels in Gemer has been preserved in the small village of Chyžné. The altar is from the workshop of Master Paul of Levoča. In Chyžné there is also an evangelical tolerance church from 1785-1786, where Samo Tomášik also worked https://gotickacesta.sk/chyzne/

Track types
Roadbook
The route starts in the village of Chyžné (Roman Catholic church with an altar from the workshop of Master Paul of Levoča). After less than two kilometers, we turn right and through a cottage settlement, we climb a good forest road. The smooth asphalt is replaced by a rougher surface, and past the cottages on the Long slope, we continue climbing higher (sometimes quite steeply) up to the end of the paved road. Here we turn uphill to the right, join the blue tourist trail, and after a few dozen meters, we arrive at the turnoff to the Klepaná skala. The goal is a rocky viewpoint with a shelter and a cross.
