The descent to Kandersteg starts on a good, easy path, then becomes steep and technical, on gravel and tight switchbacks. You enjoy a spectacular view into the Gastertal. From Kandersteg to Goppenstein you take the train, before continuing via Ferden on a sensational 7 km long panorama trail past the Faldumalp to the Rinderhütte. This is at a constant altitude of 2000 meters above sea level, with an impressive view down into the Leukerbad basin and over to the Gemmi heights. The end of the route offers a great downhill back to Leukerbad.

- Between Oberi Meiggu and Staffel, depending on riding skills, shorter carrying sections
- After Underi Fäsilalpu, carrying section of about 10 minutes.
- The car shuttle train Kandersteg - Goppenstein is surprisingly cheaper than the passenger train on the same route!
- The Gemmi cable cars are equipped for bike transport.
