The Ceronda MTB Loop (ACM) is a cycle-hiking route extending about 80 km starting from Lanzo Torinese, crossing the hills along the Stura di Lanzo, then ascending the valleys of the Ceronda and Casternone streams, climbing up to reach technical trails around the Colle del Lys, then descending to the valley for the return. It is a route divided into 2 main loops, a connecting section, and two variants aimed at promoting cycle-hiking in the territory of the Lanzo Ceronda and Casternone Valleys.
The route was created on the initiative of the GAL Valli di Lanzo Ceronda e Casternone, as part of the activities of the European project ExplorLab – Integrated Territorial Plan (PITER) GRAIES LAB, funded by the France-Italy Alcotra 2014-2020 cross-border cooperation program and with the contribution of the Mountain Unions Valli di Lanzo Ceronda e Casternone and Alpi Graie.
