One of the possible routes a few kilometers from a chaotic city like Verbania has become, full of paths, unknown to most, of great beauty.

We start with a long route on asphalt, but then you will be rewarded, passing through Miazzina and Alpe Pala and further up. (I highly recommend this direction.)
At the chapel of the parking lot (Cappella Fina), a few hairpin bends above the Alpini memorial, take the path on the right on the flat with signs for Cappella della Porta. Easy to pedal at first, it then becomes, after a water intake, occasionally rideable in the saddle, but work is underway, until we enter the beautiful pine forest which on an easy but not monotonous path will accompany us to the paved road descending to Caprezzo.
On this road, at the height of an artificial pond, where the road levels out, by entering right onto the canal covered by concrete slabs, being careful on the small bridges without protective barriers, we can reach Alpe Agricola and then Alpe Pala through a not very demanding, very pleasant path.
We pass again through Miazzina, entering the village, descend along a path to Ungiasca, near the tavern take Via Cossogno which, crossing several times a recent asphalt road, will bring us with some difficulty precisely to Cossogno.
Almost at the end of the road, from a clearing used as a parking area, an unpaved country road takes us, passing behind an old factory, towards the riding school and the kennel. Staying in the woods, follow the evident path traces that descend parallel to the valley. After a short time we will encounter some strange screes, continuing downhill towards a small stream, having reached a large gravel quarry we ford it and ascending near some flower cultivation, we will soon reach Cambiasca where we left the car.
