Public transport
The Neckartal railway line runs through the Neckar valley from the hub Heidelberg via Bad Friedrichshall to Heilbronn. Coming from Heidelberg, the S-Bahn RheinNeckar serves the Neckar valley every half hour. From Heilbronn, the S41 tram runs to Mosbach-Neckarelz. From there, continue with the S-Bahn RheinNeckar to Eberbach. From Heilbronn and also from Heidelberg / Mannheim, Eberbach is accessible via the Regional Express as a direct connection. From the north, the Odenwald Railway runs from Frankfurt via Darmstadt through the Hessian Odenwald to Eberbach.
Directions
Coming from the east via the A81 and A6, take exit no. 37 Heilbronn. Follow B27 to Mosbach and from the Mosbach interchange follow B37 along the Neckar to Eberbach. (Distance to A6 / Heilbronn exit 50 km)
From the west, you reach Heidelberg via the A5 and A656. From here, go directly and well signposted via B37 to Eberbach. (Distance to Heidelberg 33 km)
From the north, you come via A3 exit no. 54 Hanau and B45 to Eberbach. The route goes via Dieburg, Höchst im Odenwald, Michelstadt, Erbach and Oberzent through the Hessian Odenwald down to the Neckar. (Distance to A3 / Hanau exit 80 km)
Coming from the northeast via A81, take exit no. 3 Tauberbischofsheim and follow B27 to Buchen. Further along B27, L523 turns right towards Mudau. From Mudau via L524 to Eberbach. (Distance A81 / Tauberbischofsheim exit 70 km)
From the south, take exit no. 33 Sinsheim on the A6 and follow B292 via Waibstadt, Helmstadt-Bargen to Aglasterhausen. Turn left there onto L590 via Schwarzach and Schwanheim to Eberbach. (Distance to A6 / Sinsheim exit 35 km)
Parking
Parking spaces are available at the Grüner Baum parking lot. Also directly at the Neckarlauer under the bridge and along the B37. From here, it is only about 500 meters to the start and finish point "Neuer Markt".
