Annenberg Castle is a well-preserved manor house above Goldrain. The first building dates back to the 13th century. The tour is very popular because it has all the components of a CC tour. Steep uphills and some tricky sections (S2) on the descent. Perfect for less experienced bikers who want to try their hand at mountain biking

Start: At the ➊ train station in Goldrain. Cross the railroad tracks in the direction of Goldrain Castle. After the ➋ road underpass, turn left past the ➌ Sport- & Bikehotel Vetzan to the center of ➍ Vetzan. This is where the actual ascent to ➎ Annenberg Castle begins. After the residence, turn slightly right and after a small flat section there is a very steep ramp of approx. 200 m. Once you have passed this ramp, you are already close to the junction ➏ (right) Annenberger Böden. Follow the local bike signs from the turn-off. The view from the ➐ Annenberger Böden is unique and highly recommended. The crossing of the Tisstal valley over the ➑ suspension bridge awaits bikers as a tricky downhill section. Follow the signs to Tiss and on to Goldrain
