Black Forest Insider Route

This route takes us on many small and often unknown side roads into the southern Black Forest and back. Who knows the road through Weißenbach and Schwarzenbach towards Furtwangen? Past Titisee, we only briefly touch Schluchsee.

Then, in Bernau-Dorf, a sign that is easy to overlook shows us the way right to the Krunkelbachhütte. The approximately 4.5 km narrow and steep ascent is provided with beautiful viewpoints. There are two good reasons for this detour: firstly the fantastic view, and secondly the house specialty, goulash soup made from Bernau pasture cattle. On the return route near Gutach-Bleibach, another insider tip begins among the Black Forest motorcycle routes. We ride towards Siegelau and from there over Oberspitzenbach to Biederbach-Dorf. Here we have wonderful views of the Elz valley and the Black Forest mountains behind it.
