The Danube by Bike. Stage 8: Bad Deutsch-Altenburg - Bratislava
Viando
On this second stage of the Danube cycling route between Vienna and Budapest, we continue our journey towards Bratislava, another European capital—this time, of Slovakia. This stretch, shorter than the others, allows us to enjoy peaceful paths along the Danube and the natural beauty of the region, arriving early in Bratislava to make the most of what the city has to offer. Once in the Slovak capital, there will be time to explore its charming old town, dominated by the imposing castle that offers panoramic views of the river and the city. We can also visit St. Martin’s Cathedral and stroll along its cobbled streets, full of history and culture.
